- Invitation to January 16, 1880 grand dress ball held in honor of the 65th anniversary of the Battle of New Orleans
the satin ribbon was enclosed with the invitation. Ball was held at the Smithville, New Jersey, opera house and was thrown by Democratic Congressman Hezekiah B. Smith.
