- 3 pages. Addressed to Wilner (sic) and Furmansky. Appears to be the edited English draft, with corrections, of the letter that would be translated and sent, letter to Vilner and Furmanski. Yiddish fragment on back may be rough draft of that translation, or the wrong paper may have been put in the typewriter by mistake. The Jewish People’s Fraternal Order was the largest ‘national’ section of the International Workers Order (IWO) which focused on cultural awareness and celebration, mutual support especially in health insurance coverage, and anti-fascist activities. The IWO also gave particular emphasis to supporting the rights and interests of African Americans.
