- This is from an illustrated schoolbook, with one map on each page, accompanied by explanatory text. This map attacks the costs imposed on Germany under various aspects of the Treaty of Versailles, including territory ceded to other states in Europe and the colonies, resources lost ("75% of German iron"), and reparations owed. For a version of this map circulated in 1919, immediately after the signing of the Treaty, see ID #1205.
