- Notes:
- This is a satirical map on the conduct - particularly the amorous conduct - of Parisians. The title of the map is a play on the French word "étrenne," which mean both a year end tip or bonus (to postmen, etc.) and "having the first use" of something! It seems quite possible that some of those caricatured in this map might have been known to the readers of La Vie Parisienne.
