- 8 pages. Minutes of the Meeting of the American Jewish Conference Interim Committee from February 25, 1945 marked confidential. Reports that Albert E. Kahn from the JPFO and others had been a "cooption" by the Executive Committee to serve on the Interim Committee. Minutes discuss organizational changes and appointments that include a new list of committees. Also mentions resolutions introduced by Louis Lipsky requiring constituent organizations to go through the Conference in dealings with governmental agencies and to generally abide by its policies. Resolutions reference the urgent need for visas to British Mandate Palestine for those in DP camps. The request for Jewish representation at the upcoming U.N. San Francisco Conference is tied to requests for participation in agencies that deal with PostWar Reconstuction, Rescue, and promoting a platform on Palestine. Agreement is reached to not work with the American Jewish Committee, but to work informally with the British Board of Deputies and the World Jewish Congress in coordinating international activities. Report shows awareness that Nazi killings of Jews were still continuing in 1945. Meeting ends with tribute to Henrietta Szold.

- The Jewish People’s Fraternal Order was the largest ‘national’ section of the International Workers Order (IWO) which focused on cultural awareness and celebration, mutual support especially in health insurance coverage, and anti-fascist activities. The IWO also gave particular emphasis to supporting the rights and interests of African Americans.
