- The date and identification of the paper as the Morgn Freiheit (Frayhayt) are taken from the handwritten note at the top. As proof of the treachery of the Social Democrats, the article reprints a photo of a text from Der Fraynd (the Workmen's Circle newspaper). Underlined sections 1. emphasize that if Stalin wins the war in Europe, then the people there will be subjected to his control, and 2. declare that it's the free nations and the people of Russia, not their communist government, that are winning the war, that the last shot of the war has not been fired, and when it is, Stalin's regime will be shot to bits. The Fraynd's position is described as not only treacherous towards the Soviet Union, even as its army is engaging Hitler, but as treasonous towards the United States, its ally in that fight.

- The Jewish People’s Fraternal Order was the largest ‘national’ section of the International Workers Order (IWO) which focused on cultural awareness and celebration, mutual support especially in health insurance coverage, and anti-fascist activities. The IWO also gave particular emphasis to supporting the rights and interests of African Americans. Documents include language and representations which comprise the historical record and should not be interpreted to mean that Cornell University or its staff endorse or approve of negative representations or stereotypes presented.
