- Typed heading says: "Copy to B. Feder, Rio de Janeiro" Translated Summary: Received word from Sh. Farber in Paris that people in Rio de Janeiro have $5000 for them. Requests that Feder go to the Banco de Brasil, and have the $5000 sent to the Manufacturers Trust Company bank in NY, where the Ordn will then use the money at the direction of Paris. "Hoping to hear from you quickly..."

- The Jewish People’s Fraternal Order was the largest ‘national’ section of the International Workers Order (IWO) which focused on cultural awareness and celebration, mutual support especially in health insurance coverage, and anti-fascist activities. The IWO also gave particular emphasis to supporting the rights and interests of African Americans.
