The map is "modeled from" data in the Fifth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Virtually all of Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens are under water, including "Greenwich Spillage," "Central Shark," "Yankee Acquarium," "Park Sloop," "Bed-Sea" and "Flushed Meadows." In NY Harbor, the "Torch of Liberty" is shown.
The Fifth Assessment Report was released in stages during 2013 and 2014, and this map was produced in 2015.
