- Description:
- This image shows a dark, approximately circular soil stain (Post Mold 96) when it was first exposed after removal of overlying plow-mixed soil. The stain is just to the left of the black-and-white north arrow. Although the shape and color of the stain suggest it is a cultural feature, it was not excavated by the Cornell project so its dating and function remain unclear.
