- Description:
- This image shows an elongated dark, fire-related soil stain (Feature 61) when it was first exposed after removal of overlying plow-mixed soil. The stain is to the left and below the black-and-white north arrow. While this stain lies within the footprint of House 3 at the White Springs site, additional processing will be necessary to determine if it dates to the Seneca or Euroamerican occupation of the site.
