Randall Forsberg's letter Re: Establishing a new research center
In this confidential memo, addressed to Robert Berman (Brookings), Michael Klare (Institute for Policy Studies), David Schwartz (MIT) and Ronald Siegel (MIT), Randall Forsberg presents a proposal to establish a new research center in the Boston-Cambridge area sometime between September 1978 and September 1979. She suggests a name "Center for the Study of Military Policy and Disarmament" but eventually based on her project she will establish the Institute for Defense and Disarmament Studies. The memo contains: (I) Some virtues of and reasons for establishment of such a center, (II) Research Program and publications, (III) Political point of view, (IV) Practical questions: organization, money, etc.
