- Description:
- A pair of nearly identical photographs for viewing the depicted image in three dimensions with a stereograph viewer. A smiling Japanese woman wearing a pointed round woven hat, plaid jacket, and wrapped plaid skirt, looks into the camera on a hillside. She has a large woven basket on her back. Beyond her on the left side of the image terraced hillside is visible, while beyond her to the right are flatter farmlands. The verso of the stereocard is also included, it contains some racist comments about the woman and some complementary comments about the quality of the soil and the tea.
