- See Notes for ID #1292.01. The text describes Roosevelt's election on November 15, 1940, and calls him "the first man in American history to have the honour of being called three times running to the highest office in the free-ist Republic in the world." It notes his record of "pillorying" dictators and "castigating their methods." And it concludes by reporting Willkie's "unreserved support for all measures increasing help for Britain," so that "Roosevelt has the entire American people behind him in his determination to fight the Dictators."
