- Notes:
- This is one of four handwritten pages of notes (ID ##2316.03-.06) found with an RAF propaganda leaflet dropped by air on German positions in September 1941. For a description of the leaflet itself, see ID #2316.01. The notes contain an extensive translation of portions of the German text from the leaflet into English. It appears that an English soldier was working to improve his German or to understand what messages the RAF was emphasizing. On the other hand, these notes could be from a German soldier who was working to improve his English.
