- Description:
- Largest sandstone temple in the world. Richest of all Pallava Shrines in terms of figural decoration. Has 58 devakulikas (mini-shrines) running around the main temple. Dates: first half of the 8th C. Built by Narasimhavarman II Rajasimha (reg. 690-728).
