- Final Assembly 1. In the "B" building at the Rouge plant the visitor sees the complete assembly of the car or truck. 2. The motors travel to the final assembly line from the Motors Building. Here a motor is being placed in the chassis. 3. The various parts are brought to the assembly line at the proper time by side or branch conveyers. 4. The bodies come down from above and are lowered on the chassis. 5. Putting on the finishing touches. The car is now about ready to go to inspection.
