- Description:
- Photo of a pole lathe (aka springpole lathe) made mainly of wood. A vertical cord, wrapped around the piece to be turned, is attached at one end to a treadle. The other end of the cord is attached overhead to a flexible wood pole. The opposite end of the pole is fixed in place to the wall, out of frame.
