- Description:
- Jones and Lamson manufactured lathes. James Hartness was superintendent of the plant. Lathes like these made artillery shells during World War II. The plates with angles bolted to the side of the lathe, and the drum on the end, are templates that a stylist would follow to move tools in and out.
