- Description:
- Jones and Lamson manufactured lathes. James Hartness was superintendent of the plant. Artillery shells made during World War II were made on lathes like these. The plates with angles bolted to the side of the lathe, and the drum on the end, are templates that a stylist would follow to move tools in and out.
