Jews-Social Conditions - Description:
- Yiddish handwritten letter on Rose Hotel stationary, 150 N. Soto Street at Michigan Avenue, Los Angeles, CA, where Zhitlowsky was staying. The letter was received in New York on Dec 26, 1941. The author is probably Zelig Zipper; the recipient is editor Itche Goldberg in his role as National School and Cultural director of the Jewish American Section of the IWO. Zelig complains that Itche is not responding to letters and is ignoring Los Angeles which needs his attention. The letter is stapled to the poster of Zhitlowsky speaking in Los Angeles on January 1, 1943.
