organizing - Description:
- Dr. Chaim Zhitlowsky bi-lingual thesis notes for his April 4, 1943 Carnegie Hall talk at a meeting sponsored by the Jewish American Section of the IWO, (JPFO). The lecture emphasizes the wartime importance of the Soviet Union, Jewish Unity most especially with Soviet and American Jews, the war effort, and the needed support for British and American allies. Zhitlowsky regards the accusations regarding the death in the Soviet Union of Polish Bundists, Erlich and Alter as a propagandistic ploy.
