- 5 pages. Article in IWO magazine Fraternal Outlook (Vol. I, No. 9) decrying the investigation of the IWO by the committee led by Congressman Martin Dies looking into the organization's supposed subversive goals. Features a William Gropper drawing of a millionaire shredding the Constitution. The article mentions the actual threat posed by Nazi Bund groups such as the "Silver Shirts" in "the spreading of race hatred and anti-Semitism." Starting sentence: "WHENEVER anyone of our aspiring tin-horn fascists seeks to abridge the Bill of Rights for their own particular purpose, they always insinuate that they have a mandate from the people. And so it is with Congressman Martin Dies."
