- Description:
- A sacrificial bull, whose foreparts and head are preserved at the center of the block and who is depicted in three-quarter view, processes forward (towards the right edge of the block). The lower drapery folds of fig. 142, a himation-clad male, are present in the foreground at the bull's right flank. In the background, part of the head, neck, and a draped shoulder of fig. 143 are visible, standing along the bull's left flank. The hind quarters of the bull preceding this one are backgrounded and partially obscured by the head of this bull. At the far right of the block, another himation-clad man (fig. 144), preserved from the neck down, stands in profile along this second bull's right flank.
