About this collection

This collection includes digital surrogates of architectural plans, drawings, photographs, and collage works created by John Clair Miller, Professor Emeritus in the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning. These materials were digitized and developed into a digital collection with the support of the AAP Grants Program. The collection includes projects such as the Newfield Methodist Church, Contemporary Trends, Elmira Psychiatric Center, Sagan Residence, and the addition at Malott Hall at Cornell University, and entries into design competitions including the Berkeley Art Center Design Competition, the Easthampton Airport Terminal Design Competition, and the Copley Square Design Competition.

John Clair Miller is an architect and professor emeritus of architectural design and theory at Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. The materials represented in this collection were created between 1962-1995.
